Local Walks

The Bush Inn sits that the western end of the South Downs National Park nestled in the very heart of the Itchen valley. There are several long-distance paths that can be taken such as, the Watercress Way, the Itchen Way and the Pilgrims’ Trail, to name but a few. While each can obviously be undertaken as a linear route (either as a multi-day walking trip or on an ad hoc basis in stages) there is ample scope for devising a wide variety of circular walks combining stretches of them with other paths.

The Bush is the ideal place to either start or finish one of the many circular walks on offer in the idyllic countryside that surrounds us, with ample car parking on offer. We have listed a few of the local walks below for you as downloadable PDF's, as well as a wonderful video from 'Rob's Hampshire Pub Walks'.
