Serving Great Locally Sourced Food

Situated on the banks of the River Itchen in the picturesque village of Ovington this traditional 17th century pub is sure to give you a lasting memory whatever the season.

A Little Bit About Us

Nestled in the South Downs National Park, beside the river Itchen, this traditional, family-friendly village pub offers a cheerful, and hearty welcome with Wadworth ales tapped from the cask & great food. Roaring log fires adds that all-important old-fashioned touch, the riverside garden has stunning views and we are frequently visited by many types of birds. We pride ourselves on the pub’s relaxing atmosphere. Our food is inspired by our surroundings, and our well accomplished chefs produce locally-sourced dishes perfectly accompanied by our wide range of refreshments.
